Common questions

Is Loura a lender?

No. Loura Advisory is an advisory firm, not a bank or moneylender. We help you understand your options and prepare your application. The financing provider assesses your application and makes the final decision.

What financing can Loura help with?

Business loans, working capital, invoice and trade financing, equipment financing, business expansion, property financing and refinancing, and personal financing.

Who can enquire?

Businesses and individuals in Singapore with a genuine financing need. Whether an option suits you depends on things like how long you have been operating, your income or revenue, your existing loans and each provider's criteria.

How much can I borrow?

It depends on what the money is for, your cashflow or income, your existing loans, any security you can offer and the provider's own assessment. Your adviser can give you a better idea once they understand your situation.

Do I need documents to enquire?

No. You can start an enquiry without any documents. If you decide to go ahead, common documents include recent bank statements, financial statements, Notices of Assessment, an ACRA business profile and directors' details. The exact list depends on the type of financing.

Will you check my credit when I enquire?

No credit check is done at the enquiry stage. A provider may check your credit later, but only if you decide to apply.

How long does the process take?

It depends mostly on how quickly complete information is available and on the provider's own review. Providers set their own timelines, so we do not promise a fixed turnaround time.

Is approval guaranteed?

No. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee approval. Every application is subject to the provider's assessment and criteria.

How are interest rates decided?

Each provider sets its own rate based on the type of financing, the tenure, your financial position, any security and its own risk assessment. Figures and calculators on this website are estimates, not quotes or offers.

Does Loura charge a fee?

Loura may charge a service fee for some cases. It is separate from the provider's interest and fees, and we will always tell you the amount before you decide to go ahead.

Can Loura help if my bank application was rejected?

Yes. We can look at what happened and explain whether a different provider or type of financing may be worth considering. We cannot promise approval.
