What does it cost?
Provider interest and charges
Check whether the rate is annual or monthly, flat or reducing-balance, and whether repayments include principal. EIR, where published, is separate from the advertised rate. Allow for processing, upfront, annual, legal, valuation and early-settlement charges where applicable.
Loura service fee
Separate from provider charges; no fee is assumed in the estimate. Your adviser confirms whether a Loura fee applies and its amount before you decide to proceed. All provider charges must be confirmed in the offer.
Working Capital Calculator
For suppliers, salaries, rent, inventory and other operating expenses. Amounts and terms depend on provider assessment.

Rate basis
Monthly figure is interest only. Principal is due at the end; total repayment includes that principal. Upfront fees are paid separately or deducted, not added to the loan. This rate is not EIR.
Short-term and revolving facilities usually charge interest only on the amount drawn; the principal is repaid or renewed at the end. Actual structures vary by provider.

Frequently asked questions
Is trade financing the same as a business loan?
Not quite. Trade financing is linked to specific purchases or sales, such as paying a supplier for a shipment. It is usually repaid when the goods are sold or your customer pays.
What types of trade financing are there?
Common types include supplier payment financing, letters of credit and import or export loans. The right one depends on how you buy, sell and get paid.
What documents are usually needed?
Besides company financials and bank statements, providers often ask for purchase orders, supplier invoices, shipping documents and details of your customers.
Do I need documents to enquire?
No. You can enquire without sending any documents. If you decide to go ahead, your adviser will tell you exactly which documents the provider needs, such as bank statements or financial statements.
What happens after I enquire?
A Loura adviser will contact you, usually by phone or WhatsApp, to understand what you need. We explain the options that may suit you, the likely costs and any Loura service fee. Nothing is sent to a provider without your instruction.
